After dinner at the Atlantic Sea Grill in Acton, MA, I started to drive home, but then remembered from an interview with a pinball luminary (whose name escapes me) that there are pinball machines at the arcade in the Acton Bowladrome. So at a little after 9 pm, I pulled in and checked it out. I can’t believe I’ve bowled there but never checked out the arcade. To my wonder, there were six pinball games.

I played Monopoly, Elvis, Roller Coaster Tycoon, Terminator 3, and Ripley’s Believe It Or Not. I did very well on Monopoly and Terminator 3. On my way out, I thanked the guy behind the counter for the pinball. He said they also sell machines. “Maybe someday,” I said. If you like pinball and you’re in the area, stop in and play some tables. I’ll definitely be back, as it’s only 20+ minutes from my place.
