Pac-Man Battle Royale at Pinball Wizard Arcade

The Pac-Man Battle Royale 4 player arcade game has arrived at Pinball Wizard Arcade in Pelham, NH! Earlier today, I played three games. The first time I played against a youngster that was hanging around the machine. He quickly accepted my offer to play. It was a lot of fun and easy to understand the updated gameplay elements. Later, my wife joined in with us. And finally, I got in last minute on a game with the owner, the same youngster and another young fellow around his age. The game is set to 3 tokens and it’s worth it. You get a pretty long game. I believe everyone gets 5 lives. Here are a couple poor quality cell phone pics of the game:

Whate’er your race may be

I’m blogging from church this morning because a verse in the hymn “In Christ There Is No East or West” impressed me as I sang it with my beautiful black wife and mixed race son:

“Join hands then brothers of the faith
Whate’er your race may be
Who serves my Father as a son
Is surely akin to me”

Three New Pinball Machines at Pinball Wizard Arcade

I had a great time earlier tonight at my favorite arcade, Pinball Wizard in Pelham, NH. And yes, I know it’s 2011, but there really is an arcade less than an hour away that’s huge, clean, and filled with classic games. I consider these pinball machines works of art, and as of earlier tonight, this place has 89 of them. The absolute best part is they’re all lovingly restored by the arcade’s owner Sarah St. John. Here are the latest three:
